The concept of the baby league comes from nations in South and Central America like Uruguay and Argentina.
The idea is to have an early management and engagement of children from their formative years.
Expected to run over 2 months, the young players will be immersed in the league format for the entire duration.
The young participants will have an opportunity to experience first-hand the competitive nature of the sport at a very early stage.
AIFF has laid down clear guidelines which will ensure each age group players extract the maximum learning from their participation.
It will give an opportunity to hand-pick high potential football performers and give them access to specialized coaching.
It lays down a platform for young players to showcase their abilities and the AIFF to keep a track record of the development of these future stars.
