India U-20 international and former U-17 World Cupper Sanjeev Stalin has joined Portuguese Top
Division club CD Aves.
The talented left back had assisted Jeakson Singh in the first ever goal for the Indian national team in
any world cup against Colombia in 2017.
The 20-year old went on to become a part of the All India Football Federation's I-league outfit Indian
Arrows and made his professional debut against Chennai City FC in 2017 in a 3-0 win.

Clube Desportivo das Aves is based in Vila das Aves in Portugal and competes in Premiera Liga, the top
division of Portuguese football league, which is also competed by renowned clubs like Benfica, Sporting
Lisbon among others.
The club was founded on 12 November 1930 and plays at the Estádio do Clube Desportivo das Aves,
which holds a seating capacity of 8,560.
The club is currently under the leadership of caretaker coach Nuno Manta Santos.
They finished 14th in the league previous season and are currently at the 18th position in the league, rock-bottom of the table.
