Kolkata: Kolkata based outfit ATK is all set to sign up Australian international Dario Vidosic, sources close to the club reveal.
The 32-year old forward was a part of top A-league side Melbourne City FC and left the club this year.
Vidosic has 23 international caps for Australia and has scored 2 goals for the team.
The Socceroo has already tasted Indian football, having come to India last year to play against Kerala Blasters and Girona in the Laliga World Tournament.
Back then he praised Indian football and gave positive remarks about its progress, "We have heard a lot (about Indian football). We have watched it (Indian league) and it has very good standards."
It seems as if the club is looking to scout the Australian league in particular as the two-time ISL champions are also set to sign up Wellington Phoenix's Roy Krishna and David Williams.
Vidosic also has experience of playing in Germany, China and South Korea.
