Indian international and former FC Goa winger Sahil Tavora has joined Portuguese club GDSC Alvarenga, sources close to the club have confirmed.

            The 22-year old Goan footballer, who last played for Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League, is well known for his stellar performance in the 2014 Lusophony Games held in Goa, where he helped India win a gold medal.

            GSDC Alvarenga is a third division club in Portugal. It will be interesting to see how this decision fares for Tavora, who struggled to get playing time with FC Goa and Mumbai City FC.
