  1. Nauzet Santana – The 29 year old Spanish goalkeeper joined the club from Real Avila CF last year on a free transfer. He played 10 matches and kept 3 clean sheets cementing his position as No. 1 Keeper. The player have signed 3 year contract extension with the club.
  2. Roberto Eslava – The 31 year old Spanish Centre Back arriving from Segunda B Division club Unionistas De Salamanca CF on free transfer have started in 15 matches and was rocksolid in Chennai’s title winning campaign along with scoring 2 goals and giving 1 assist. He also signed 3 year contract extension with the club.
  3. Pedro Manzi – The 30 year old Greek Left Winger arriving from Tercera division club L’Hospitalet on free transfer. He scored 25 goals in 21 matches playing for the club in both I League and Super Cup and have compelled the club to offer him 3 year contract extension which the player have accepted and committed to the club.
  4. Sandro Rodriguez – The 29 year old attacking midfielder joining from Tercera division based club Ibarra played an important role in this title winning campaign by scoring 10 goals and giving 4 assists in all competitons for Chennai City last season, earning a 2 year contract extension with the club. The attacking trio of Pedro Manzi, Nestor Gordillo and Sandro Rodriguez, under the mentorship of Singaporean coach Akbar Navas, were too hot to handle.They were unstoppable in the I-League and outplayed most of the other teams in I-League.

 

  1. Arrivals

 

  1. Katsumi Yusa – The 31 year old Japanese Attacking Midfielder with 8 years of experience of playing in I League have brought the club’s attention leading to signing him from NEROCA FC. He had an average season with NEROCA which involves scoring 6 goals in 17 matches. However, his vast experience of playing in the competition will help Chennai City FC to compete for defending the title. He scored 38 goals and gave 6 assists while playing in all competitions in India.
  2. Adolfo Miranda – The 30 year old winger which goes by the name ‘Fito’ joined the club to replace outgoing Spaniard Nestor Gordillo. With a decade long experience of playing in Segunda Division, Fito will definitely be a worthy asset in Chennai City’s attacking cavalry.
