  1. Daniel Cyrus - The 28-year-old former Chicago Fire defender have joined the Kolkata outfit on a free transfer this season. He plays as a central defender, but can also double up as a right-back if needed. The 6 feet 3.5 inch tall defender has the experience of playing in his native country Trinidad and Tobago and also in the USA, Honduras, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia helping Mohun Bagan to revitalize the back four and strenghthen the central defense.
  2. Fran Morante – The Spanish defender have joined the Mariners on free transfer this season, plying his trade on Indian soil after a stint with Internacional de Madrid in the Segunda Division 'B', the third tier of the Spanish football pyramid. The 27 year old centre back stands out for good positioning, strong aerial presence and provides dependency in defense giving the Green and Maroon another foreign option to rotate at Central defense or form partnership with Daniel Cyrus at the back. He also scored 2 goals in 28 games including a Copa Del Rey match.
  3. Salva Chamorro – The Mariners foreign players recruitment continues by acquisition of 29 year old Spanish striker Salva Chamorro. A Villareal academy product, Salva played mostly in Spanish lower leagues (Segunda and Tercera Division) before joining Barcelona B team on a short stint. He has since tested his abilities in Portugal, Morocco and most recently with Greek club Doxa Drama where he scored four goals in 19 appearances last season. His arrival at the Mariners is expected to help newly appointed coach Kibu Vicuna to bolster their attacking third.
  4. Joseba Beitia – The Mariners have continued to expand Spanish contingent by signing central midfielder Joseba Beitia on free transfer. The 29 year old Spaniard layed for Spanish outfit Real Union in the Secundra Division last season and have mostly played his club football in Spain for clubs like Real Sociedad B, CD Sarinena, Somozas, Marbella FC and Racing Ferrol.
  5. Francesco Javier Hernandez Munoz – The Mariners have recruited another Spaniard into the squad by signing the 30 year old defensive midfielder. Though being a Real Madrid youth product, he stated his professional career at UD Almeria B, followed by Lucena CF for two seasons, Córdoba CF B, Deportivo de La Coruña B and Real Zaragoza B in Segunda División B. However, he shined in Hong Kong playing as a captain for Lee Man FC helping the club to win Hong Kong Sapling Cup before joining the Green and Maroons.
  6. Julen Colinas – The 31 year old Sapnish winger joined the Mariners on free transfer making the Spanish contigent to 5 players. Being able to play at both flanks, he an also play as a forward, thus definitely will be a perfect choice to support strikers along with bringing his experience of playing in Segunda.
