  1. Retention

  1. Alfred Jaryan – The Liberian Defensive midfielder was among the first few foreign players to have joined the North Eastern I-League outfit in 2015 and have been still playing for the same club for 4 years making this his second home. The management also respects Jaryan’s commitment to the club by including him in current season’s squad. Under his captaincy, Aizawl FC have witnessed a historic 2016/17 season which involves winning Hero I-League in its first season after being promoted from 2nd Division.
  2. Richard Kassaga – The Uganda born 26 year old Centre Back signed a new one year contract extension after putting out impressive performances. He arrived in January 2019 on free transfer after leaving his native club URA FC. He displayed solid performances at the back and brought a lot of experience to Aizawl FC having played 37 times for his national team and years of experience at the top level in Africa. Aizawl FC will hope that Richard Kassaga can strengthen their defensive line which has been leaking goals.
