India U-23 squad announced for friendly against Qatar U-23


New Delhi: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) today announced the squad that will play friendly against Qatar before the all-important AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers begins in Tashkent. It is worth noting that some players had to be left out of the squad owing to their club commitments.


           This will be the first match in charge for head coach Derrick Perreira. The squad is as follows:


GOALKEEPERS: Dheeraj Singh, Prabhsukhan Gill

DEFENDERS: Narender, Sarthak Golui, Wungngayam Muirang, Mehtab Singh, Anwar Ali, Asish Rai

MIDFIELDERS: Jerry M, L Chhangte, Vinit Rai, Sahal Abdul, Amarjit Singh, Deepak Tangri, Rohit Kumar, Suresh Singh, Komal Thatal, Boris Singh, Rahul KP

FORWARDS: Liston Colaco, Daniel Lalhlimpuia, Rahim Ali, Rohit Danu
