Antalya: Indian women's football team humbled Turkmenistan as they fired in ten goals here today. Sanju completed her hattrick while Ranjana and Anju registered 2 goals each.
The Blue Tigresses found the lead as early as the 7th minute when Grace slotted home a cross from Dalima Chhiber. Sanju scored to double India's lead at the 17th minute as Dalima assisted her in the process. She scored again at the 37th minute from a Grace's cross to put India into a comfortable lead at the half time.
The goal fest continued for India in the second half as Anju and Ranjana scored goals in the 51st and 60th minutes to increase India's goal tally to five. Ranjana completed her brace in the next minute and at 71st minute Sanju completed her hattrick. Sumithra, Anju and Indumathi scored late goals to put final nail in the coffin of the Turks.
